Know Us
Blulo.Capital is a legal intelligence firm headquartered in Lima, Peru, founded by attorneys with deep corporate experience as legal practicioners and in-house legal managers across the financial industry. We operate at the intersection of law, finance, and quantitative analysis, delivering specialized advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, investment funds, family offices, and institutional investors throughout Latin America. Our founding philosophy is rooted in the Blue Ocean Strategy: rather than competing in overcrowded legal markets with commoditized offerings, we deliberately create new spaces where innovative legal products and services address unmet needs.
Our practice is built around two core service lines — Special Situations and Legal Valuation & Research — each combining rigorous legal expertise with quantitative depth that is rare in the Latin American legal landscape. In Special Situations, we navigate the complexities of litigation finance, secondary markets for arbitral awards and distressed debt, and bankruptcy proceedings, helping clients unlock value where others see only risk. Through our Legal Valuation & Research division, we deliver independent contingent asset valuations, operational due diligence, investment due diligence, and quantitative due diligence, transforming traditional legal review into actionable intelligence products.

1
Special Situations
Blulo.Capital advises clients navigating high-complexity, high-reward scenarios where legal expertise and financial acumen converge. Our Special Situations practice covers three key areas: litigation finance, where we structure and manage third-party funding arrangements for meritorious claims in a market that is still emerging across Latin America; secondary markets, where we facilitate the acquisition, sale, and strategic monetization of arbitral awards and distressed debt, connecting sellers seeking liquidity with funds and investors pursuing asymmetric returns; and bankruptcy proceedings, where we represent creditors, debtors, and investors in restructuring plans and liquidation processes, with a focus on maximizing recovery value.

Legal Valuation & Research
Blulo.Capital's legal Valuation & Research practice transforms conventional legal analysis into structured intelligence products designed for investors and portfolio managers. We deliver independent valuations of contingent legal assets — including pending arbitrations, litigation claims, and dispute-related rights — using methodologies aligned with international litigation funding standards, integrating financial modeling with deep legal analysis to produce reports that credibly price legal risk. Alongside our valuation work, we offer three specialized due diligence formats: Operational Due Diligence (ODD), examining governance, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and operational risk profiles of funds and investment vehicles; Investment Due Diligence (IDD), evaluating strategies, track records, return consistency, and risk-return alignment with investor mandates; and Quantitative Due Diligence (QDD).
